Our approach

The documents you forward are financial records, and we treat them that way. Security is built into how we handle every invoice you send us.

Encryption

Your data is encrypted in transit using TLS and encrypted at rest. This applies to the invoices and photos you forward and to the findings we return.

Access controls

Access to your documents is limited to the people and systems required to perform your scan. We follow the principle of least privilege and remove access that is no longer needed.

Never sold, never shared

We never sell your data and never share your documents with third parties for their own purposes. Anything we publish — including our Material Price Index — uses supplier catalog data and anonymized aggregates only; no customer, supplier, or job is ever identifiable.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your data only as long as needed to provide the service. You can request deletion at any time, and when you cancel your documents and price history are exported to you and deleted on request.

Responsible disclosure

If you believe you have found a security issue, we want to hear from you. Please email hello@checkmysupply.com and give us a reasonable chance to address it before public disclosure.
